Creating safe, supportive housing and meaningful community connections
Johnnie's Place will provide first class, safe, residential housing at reasonable market rates and costs for 1-2 adults diagnosed with and on the Autism Spectrum, who have secured the consolidated Medicaid waiver for support services, staffing needs and caretaking.
In addition, each house established by the organization will identify and serve 2-5 additional "house" members and will provide social, recreational and vocational activities both within the dwelling, and in the local community through connection with local businesses, community organizations, service providers, and volunteers.
The residents will be charged market rent, and the house members and residents will be charged an annual membership / activity fee as stipulated by the organization.
